Just a fun little post today to let you know that I'm way ready for Spring! Saw this little vintage Squirrel Planter at the thrift last week and couldn't pass it up.
What a fun addition to any baby's room. Use in the traditional way, or have fun with it and use it for q-tips, ointments, lotions... What a fun baby shower gift...maybe add the ointments and creams and even a stuffed squirrel!

The Birds are Finally Back!!

So wonderful to get up this morning and hear the birds singing! Its a sure sign that even though we are still looking out upon piles of un-melted, dirty, nasty snow that Spring is right around the corner. I must say, I am more than ready.
Ive been busy listing some of the pretty little birds I just got from a thrift shop bonanza!
This little mama and baby Blue Bird is from Japan!
A different and more muted little Blue Bird has soft and pastel colors!

Another mother and child only these are Blue Jays!

A little yellow canary by a tree stump all trimmed up in gold!
So! If you are all ready for spring, like I am. Visit my etsy shop and choose a bird to bring in your home to wait with you!

Ricky IN
Lucy ON

Possum BY

This past Christmas my son, Jeff was home on leave from the Navy. He is currently stationed in Japan, so it was wonderful to have him around. Loved that he stayed with us or nearly two weeks! One morning he complained there was cat hair on his black shoes... I was highly offended, as the cats had NOT been on his shoes and I let him know in certain terms that I had not seen the cats anywhere near them...

As the days went on, I spyed each of my 3 cats on , in or by his black shoes.

I thought it was funny...Jeff didn't!
