A View from the Sick Room...

Just checking in to let you know its still white where I live. This is the view from my bedroom window on Friday morning. Larry had just shoveled and as you can see we have over 2 feet of snow on the ground. Five inches of new stuff as noted on the cars.
I just rolled over and went back to sleep. The best way to kick this nasty virus!

Feeling a Bit Hemmed in and Overwhelmed

Just one of the beautiful pieces I obtained this week! Check out VintageKats on
This is pretty much how Ive been feeling all week! Wedged between unpacking and reorganizing my Etsy stuff and trying to get new things posted. I have pretty much been burning the candle at both ends for four days straight. This picture of little Possum "helping" me in my office/workroom pretty much sums it up! The frosting on the cake? I'm coming down with something nasty. Sore throat, achy, tired and generally feeling crappy! So I'm lying in bed, laptop on my lap, Ricky at my feet, thinking about going to sleep and its only 7:30!

I'm excited tho! I went to our little thrift stores yesterday and got seven grocery bags full of new things to add to my shops. This of course only increases my overwhelm-ness (not a word, I know!). But so fun to wash it up and get it ready to list. I also went to an auction last week and hit the mother lode! Keep watching as I fill my virtual shelves with new treasures! Can you say "MILK GLASS"? I love it and found some wonderful pieces AMBER? Do you love it? Just wait til you see what I got...

Ive opened a new Etsy shop too...Katsfabricsnmore has gotten pretty full. Ive decided to split the homemade, handmade, and fabrics etc and keep them separate from the Vintage. I wont go to the trouble of moving the vintage around, but as it sells, I wont add anymore. At some point, one shop will be fabrics, notions, handmade etc... and the other only Vintage items. Fun!

So I'm hoping to not get full blown whatever this is. I have way too much to do!
